Traffic Tickets
"The
judge yelled at me: Speeding over 25 mph in a school zone without
insurance while you already have 2 tickets this year!" Thea
answered for me, and I walked out with court supervision instead of a
suspension. She's unbelievable!"
Most people
who receive a traffic ticket in Illinois don't think it is a major event. It can,
however, have a broad impact on your driver's license status, insurance
costs or even on employment. Some traffic tickets are Class A
Misdemeanors and can result in County Jail time and extensive fines.
Certain
tickets, such as speeding in a school zone, are not eligible for court
supervision; therefore, your license could be suspended if convicted. If
you or your son or daughter is under 21, two tickets will result in a
suspension unless supervision is imposed.
